love you.

I just called my Nonna and Nonno. They are the cutest two people I have ever met in my life. My Nonna invited me over for lunch because she was eating my favourite--Italian bread, diced tomatoes on top with some olive oil and salt. Then, my Nonno came on the phone and said "Hi love, how are you sweetie?" If I could, I would steal them away with me and keep them in my room. I love them. I'm lucky, and I know that.

Every time I see/speak with them, I get so sad because my Nonna's 79 and my Nonno's turning 81 this year. I don't want them to go any where. I want them to live forever. But, I guess that's selfish.

God, this is such a tough one isn't it? Why can't we hold onto the ones we so love forever? Seems to fall into the category of life isn't fair).

You're so right that it's selfish, but it doesn't always feel that way does it?

My grandmother passed away years ago, and she was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I guess most of us say this about our grandparents. All I can say is enjoy the time you have with them Leviana, make as many good memories as you can, and know that you'll all love each other forever.
