earthquake!

I was casually checking my Twitter when my bed began to shake. My bed has a pretty poor frame so I assumed I just moved too much. I looked to my left, though, to find my blinds rattling, my dresser shifting, and the floor shaking. At first I thought my dishwasher was going to explode, since dishwashers like the one in my house have been recalled, because I felt the shakes and then heard the pipe under my kitchen sink making some really interesting noises. But then I looked at my Twitter home page...

A 3.0 magnitude earthquake reportedly hit Oshawa early this morning. According to 1LOVETO, a 5.5 magnitude quake hit Toronto later in the day (somewhere between 1:30pm and 2:00pm). Global National reports a 5.3 quake. Tweets report that quakes have been felt in Quebec, Rochester (New York State), and Michigan.

I've never actually felt an earthquake before and I feel pretty cool now that I have. However, it was really frightening. I didn't know what to do. I guess since I've lived in York Region my entire life, I've never actually learned what to do should a quake pay a visit. I immediately thought about that scene in "A Cinderella Story," starring Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray, where a devastating earthquake hits San Francisco. Duff runs to the closest doorway, in the scene, and holds on for dear life. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to do the same.

Luckily, the quake that hit my area didn't cause any damage to my house and luckily it passed quickly. Crazy, crazy.

Yeah I came in the house from swimming and it said on the news an earthquake had hit Ottawa. Hm.
EARTHQUAKES EVERYWHERE MAN! I think the world is ending. There's just going to be this HUGE major earthquake all across the world sometime soon. :/ Or at least that's what I think.
Yeah I experienced an "after shock" about 3 years ago.
