feeling like crapola.

I woke up an hour before my alarm, again. Why? I have no idea. I have a headache, too. I have to work at 9:30a.m. but I just want to roll over and sleep. If I could, I would, but apparently when my body has 8 hours of sleep, it doesn't want to sleep any further.

I hope work goes by fast today. I love working for Recruitment and Events but sometimes I get really stressed out with the amount of work I have to do before April 25. It's so close and there is tonnes more to do.

I'm working a lot of extra hours this week and next week, though, so I should get everything done.

It would be nice if I got paid but it's okay. I like working with my supervisor and everyone else in my school's administration offices. They're really down to earth and not scary at all. I also like that volunteering as an Events Assistant for an entire semester will look fab. on my resume.

I've learned quite a lot since January too - I don't have to doubt myself. I just have to work hard, be honest, and own up to any mistakes I make. I need to stay on task as best as I can and just keep myself organized in every which way so I don't end up screwing myself over timewise.

To be completely honest, I didn't think I would get the position, but I went for it and succeeded. I guess that prooves that if you want something, all you have to do is jump. If you don't land on your feet the first time, there's bound to be another shot, or two, or three, or four, etc.

Since I want to work in the Media one day - whether writing news, writing for a magazine, having my own magazine, traveling, etc - I've been told time and time again to build my resume like there is no tomorrow. I've tonnes of expereince working with people but I wanted to try something a little different and get my hands dirty. I did that. I probably could have tried a little harder to be more independent, but I think I've worked on that throughout the semester while working.

I would write more but I feel really crappy. I need to take an Advil and drink some water.

Have a great day.

I think your idea of building your resume is great. It will pay off in so many ways :)
