Last night, my mom and I made Pad Thai for dinner. It didn't quite look like this, because it was sorta our own creation, but it was delish. We put onions, carotts, and butternut squash in a frying pan with some oil, salt, and garlic and stir-fried it up a bit. Then, we boiled the thai noodles and let them soak in boiling water for about 7 minutes. Then, we put the veggies and noodles into one pan and stir-fried them up a bit with some regular teriyaki sauce, a bit of another type of teriyaki sauce that had more spices, and some more garlic. I realize that's not exactly Pad Thai, but it was our version :) It was pretty good for a first time thing. Thinking about food has now made me hungry!
