another one bites the dust (I'm listening to that song, that is all).

Hello, hello, hello!

Sorry for being missing in action these past few days. I've been so busy, which is good! Yesterday I worked at Convocation (my school's graduation) from 7:15am until about 5pm. I was supposed to work until 6pm but we finished early. The good thing is that I still got paid until 6pm! Then, I came home and ate some salad with my family. I ate dinner at work so I decided to just have some good ol' salad to reach my quota of veggies. My night wasn't that exciting, though. I went grocery shopping with my mom and bought some food but other than that, I just relaxed. Of course, I had some e-mailing to do when I got home for work so I took care of that, too!

I'm very proud of myself. Yesterday, I didn't have any cookies or any desserts while working. I stuck to a bran/oatmeal muffin, fruit, and tea for breakfast. For lunch, I had half a roast beef sandwich and half an egg sandwich, with salad, veggies, and fruit. For dinner, the hall we were working at served pizza, but it wasn't delivery it was made at the hall (or, it at least tasted like it was). I only had one slice with an apple and some grapes. Normally while working events for my school, eating isn't always healthy. Normally, we have barbecue, pizza, and tonnes of chips. Thank goodness for Convocation!

I'm pretty stoked for July 2 - PAY DAY!

My weeks are getting busier by the minute and I can't wait to start working full time at camp! Tomorrow, I am meeting with the members of dance camp for coffee, since some are new. I can't wait :) I have training this Sunday, then again on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. After all that fun stuff, I have a meeting on Sunday, July 4 and then work starts in full swing on July 5. Before I know it, it will be the end of August and I'll be looking for new note books for school. Not going to lie, though, I love working and I love school. I guess it is a win-win situation.

I am going camping, to the U.S., to see City and Colour, and to see the Backstreet Boys live in concert while working at camp so I will have a tonne of fun things to look forward to. Not to mention, this year I will also be able to socialize with people I work with more because I don't have to worry about shifts at Kelsey's. For those of you who don't know, I worked at Kelsey's for 2 years as a hostess. I didn't quit, I just said I couldn't work this summer due to previous obligations but that I'd like to keep all doors open. So, last summer I would wake up, check my e-mails for work, go to camp, come home, check my e-mails for work, eat for 10 minutes, go to Kelsey's for a closing shift, and do it all again the next day. It was pretty intense. Too intense. I do miss working with my friends at Kelsey's (it's a restaurant by the way) but I plan to go and visit soon.

Life's good right now, though, aside from work. I'm going to start looking for a part time job for September. I know it's early, but places take a long time to call back these days (or so I've heard). My family is good, too! My grandmother is home from staying at my aunt's. She's not supposed to put weight on her foot for another four weeks but it is healing well and her heart surgery went awesome, too. Nick is good. I am seeing him tonight and we're going to go see "Toy Story 3." I was never a fan of "Toy Story" but whatever, as long as I can see him. Plus, tonight is Tuesday and that means cheaper movies.

Anyway, hope you all had a great weekend and an awesome start to your week. I'll post again soon. xo
