I have a plan though. I am going to use this weekend to get as much work done as I possibly can. I am going to start my final Desire and Discontent paper. I am going to interview representatives from Plan Canada and Shameless Magazine for my Subcultures and the Mainstream Media paper on a modern do it yourself all girl movement. This way, I have the next few weeks to start preparing for my final exams giving myself enough time to study and enough time to finish planning Guelph-Humber LYNC (the event I'm planning for work).
In case you haven't already noticed, I am a big nerd. I remember this boy used to call me a nerd like twenty times a day in elementary school. I used to count just because it gave me something to laugh about. He used to make fun of me for counting, but that's besides the point. I am a nerd. I am a short, brown haired, Italian nerd! I get a rush after finishing an assignment well before it's due because I can say "I did that. I accomplished this all on my own." It's pretty cheesy, but it's me.
As for tonight, I plan on going to yoga in about half-an-hour as I always do. Then, if I am hungry, I'm going to grab something to eat from the residence caf. I will watch Sunday's episode of Gossip Girl (which I missed wah). I will start one of my essays. I will shower. I will go to sleep early!
I probably won't go to sleep early, but the thought sounds good right now.
Most people my age would be going out on a night like tonight, but I'm staying in-just me, myself, and I. My roommate's going home for the weekent tonight. My boyfriend's going to Florida tonight (well there's a 90% chance of it) with his uncle, aunt, and cousins where he will meet the rest of his family in Orlando. It's just me tonight.
I am going home this weekend, though. I'm going home with my neighbour who is uber nice and drives me home whenever I need a ride. I'm not doing much, but on Saturday I'm seeing Tash and on Sunday I am most likely going to visit my Nonno and Nonna to celebrate Palm Sunday. That means waking up early to go to mass, braiding palms, eating La Sagne, and spending time with family. I'm a total sucker for that kind of stuff. Not to mention, churches look 10x prettier when it's Easter or Christmas time. On Sunday, I expect to see purple everywhere. I love purple. Ooooh, there will be white Easter Lilies present, too. Love those to the moon and back.
Anyways, I could write for days but I really have to go to yoga. Here are some songs that I've been obsessed with for years that I want to share with you (just so you can actually get something out of this pointless ramble):
