Yesterday was pretty amazing. My boyfriend took me out for lunch to celebrate our three year anniversary and then we went to the mall where I found a pair of Guess Jeans on sale for $39.99. Yeah, I was pretty stoked when I saw that price so those jeans are all mine and I plan on wearing them the moment I find a cute belt.
After the mall, Nick and I went bowling and then back to my house for dinner. He obviously beat me at bowling but I got the first strike :) After dinner, we went to my friend Kris's birthday at a Karaoke bar in downtown Toronto called Bar+. It was so much fun minus the fact that I didn't get to sing "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga. I did get to sing "Barbie Girl," though. I was Ken. Haha!
Now that the holidays have come to an end, I have no clue what I'm going to do next week. I don't have any hours yet at work so I'm assuming I'll be catching up on a lot of reading. I started this novel called "Love the One You're With" by Emily Griffin the other day, and though I'm only on chapter three, I am starting to love it already.
I didn't do as much reading as I would have liked to this holiday season but I plan on changing that during my last week off before school starts again.
I am pretty excited to start school again, too. I am most excited to get back into routine, to continue my job as a Peer Tutor, to start my job as an Events Assistant, and to really put some thought into my future.
Sometimes I feel like I have so much passion but not enough drive. I always try to get my name out there and to get as much experience as I can but somehow I limit myself. I plan on changing that from this point forward. I've even figured out what direction I want Journalism to take me to.
I love helping people, I love writing, I love planning events, I love communications, and I really care about the information people receive. If I can find me a job that combines all of these qualities, I am set for life.
