Port-au-Prince, Haiti was hit with a 7.0 magnitude earthquake yesterday that has been called the worst earthquake in 200 years for the country. As citizens sleep on the streets of the Caribbean nation begging for help, destroyed communication methods made it impossible to tell the extent of destruction, said the Toronto Star.
About 3 million people have been affected by the quake and it could take days just to understand the effects of the damage.
