Protesters gathered in Dundas Square downtown to urge Canada to ring home their troops. Other protests were held in Montreal on the same day that NATO committed to move forward in Afghanistan.
I found this photograph rather inspirational. If Canadians have the courage to stand up for what they believe in, Canadian troops should be pulled out of Afghanistan.
We went in as peacekeepers and now we're fighting. It's not as if no one is dying, Canadian soldiers, Afghan citizens, and many others are being killed.
Save your people and get out of there.
